Kansas City T-Bones Baseball

The Kansas City T-Bones are Kansas City’s Northern League baseball team.

The Northern League was founded in 1993 as a way for players who were not playing for major league baseball teams to continue their careers. Shortly after the league’s formation, it became well known as the premier independent league.

The Northern League teams are the Joliet Jackhammers, the Gary SouthShore RailCats, the Schaumburg Flyers, the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks, the Winnipeg Goldeyes and the Kansas City T-Bones.

The Kansas City T-Bones play their home games at the Community America Ballpark, located in the Village West Retail and Entertainment District, adjacent to the Kansas Speedway, in western Kansas City, Kansas.

The Northern League’s regular season runs May through August, with the playoffs beginning in September.
