Associations and Neighborhood Organizations
The Leavenworth Road Association: Established in 1985, the primary purpose of the Leavenworth Road Association is to improve the business, neighborhood and social image and to promote small business and neighborhood organizations. The LRA concentrates on the area between the Missouri River and the north side of Parallel Parkway, bordered by 38th Street at Leavenworth Road on the east and I-435 in the west.
Projects
Google Fiber for Communities: Google selected Kansas City, Kansas, out of over 1,000 cities, to be the pilot city for its Fiber for Communities project, which will offer the ultra high-speed internet service to the community. The service is expected to be available in the first half of 2012.

WycoWest Online & iExpress Blogs: WycoWest Online is an on-line community feature that allows site members to create profiles, get to know other community members and share information with those members, as well as the broader WycoWest.com audience.
iExpress Blogs allows on-line community members to create and manage blog entries in a variety of categories. The iExpress Blogs feature is automatically available to WycoWest Online members.
